Hanna received both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas in Journalism: Strategic Communications and Communication Studies, respectively.

Throughout her collegiate career, Hanna completed an internship in Dublin, Ireland under the direction of Sculptor Louise Walsh. Hanna assumed media outreach responsibility for Ms. Walsh’s sculpture “The Hybrid Love Seat” and developed communication pieces for the public. Hanna returned to Dublin in late 2007 to plan and execute the launch event for the piece. While in Ireland, she also had the opportunity to work with the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) on artist's exhibition launches and planning the Annual Summer Party, as well as working in the press office.

After graduation, Hanna left the Midwest for Phoenix, AZ and served as a copywriter and proofreader for a small creative communications agency. There, Hanna completed work for the west and southwest regions of the U.S. for a major financial institution.

Hanna is excited to be back in Chicago. She assists on various client projects ranging from pitch writing to marketing support.
